Hello everyone, this is the good news summary post for the week.

· Squirrels have been found to have very different personality traits from humans. A study from the University of California has found that golden-mantled squirrels, a common squirrel in the U.S, have four core personality Traits. These traits are boldness, aggressiveness, activity level, and sociability. The studies performed put squirrels in a variety of situations such as being put in a new environment, shown a mirror image of themselves, being approached by humans, and behavior when in a trap (squirrels were unharmed). This study along with others in animal personality will help scientists predict environmental responses in wildlife in terms of natural disasters.

· Kuwait is transforming its massive tire graveyard into a new green city. Their landfill of 42 million tires is finally being cleaned up and recycled and is being transported to a new recycling facility to be processed. The material from the tires will be used for other utilities like tiling and playground flooring. All of the tires have been moved to the recycling plant and this marks the start of the over 3.3 billion euro project of Saad Al-Abdullah City. The city will be a carless future city that is focused on technology and drawing tourism.
· Donated Cars and Cash Flood into South Carolina Mechanic Who Fixes Them And Gives Them Away to Those in Need. Eliot Middleton, a rural South Carolina mechanic, was gifting repaired and refurbished cars to rural families with including 32 cars that he gifted in September. Once a CBS report was put out on Eliot over 800 cars and over $129,000 were donated to his cause. Countless notes were also left offering help to assist in his mission. Eliot says he has a glowing feeling inside of him and says that all of the attention is soul-soothing.
