· Cows are being potty trained to save the planet. Researchers in New Zealand and Germany sought to train cows to use designate latrines through focused experiments. This research was focused on reducing the amount of animal waste then leaches into the soil, thus harming the environment. Through the experiments, the research successfully trained 11 out of the 16 cows tested!

· Rainforests in Brazil have a chance for a comeback and without huge costs! Research over the course of 1996 through 2015 has shown that when left alone the Atlantic Rainforest of Brazil was able to regenerate by 8% of its original size. Similar support was found in Ireland where with a low-cost mix of preservation tactics and letting nature take its course, they have achieved similar results.

· A group of local Minneapolis Residents have stood or up, or really sat down, in response to the recent violence in their area. These community and church congregation members have started a movement called 21 Days of Peace in which they sit down on the street corners of the most dangerous places in the city to interrupt violence. Similar tactics in conjunction with community outreach have been shown to decrease the rates of crime by 40% and a sharp decrease in arrests.
