Hey FSF Members! Our website offers a student owned blog. What does that mean?
It means that all of our blog content will be done by you, the student body. Our club will publish your content and give you a platform to express your beliefs and feelings to the rest of the school.
Now, just a few ground rules for blog submissions.
Criteria:
Content must be based on real time issues
Language must be free of discriminatory, condescending, or threatening rhetoric
Sources must be provided and cited
There must be a stance taken about the issue being spoken about
Formatting:
Title
100 character or less article summary
Remaining parts of the article
Blog submission process:
If you would like to publish send your submission to fsfatuofsc@gmail.com in the format stated above
Requests to be published will be published in one to two weeks after submission if approved on a Thursday night by 11:59 PM. If you are not approved you will be notified in one to two weeks explaining why your article was rejected.
Blog Article Ownership:
The author owns the blog written content and is given credit for their work.
The author may request for their work to be removed, in which case it will be removed in one to two weeks.
The publisher has the right to remove any article at our own discretion, without the notice to the author. However, notice will typically be given.
If you have any more questions about the process or blogging on our website please reach out to me at cwbolton@email.sc.edu.
Thank you for being a member!
All the best,
Connor Bolton
